GOOD? FRIDAY
How can Christians call Good Friday...good; when it is the day they killed our Messiah? What can you point to, on that day, to define as good? If you understand what His death meant, you then can understand. It's all about faith. Christians have a radical faith. We do not have a faith that denies trouble or cannot deal with sorrow.
Good Friday faith is one that teaches us that goodness is not dependent on circumstances. No circumstance can make you good; or keep you from being good. Nothing can stop you from a GOOD life but you. The good life doesn't consist of riches, comfort, or success. Nor is your life free from hurt or sorrow. So...stop being oppressed, suppressed, repressed and depressed over your circumstance.
