THE PROMISE

God spoke to Jacob in a dream, "I am with you and will keep you wherever you go." Jacob responded by naming the place BEIT EL which means house of God. Jacob missed the point. The house of God is not the only place to meet God. That is just the place God revealed Himself. God will be with him wherever he goes. The same is true for us.

Yes, God is with us when we are in church worshipping, but.... He is also with us in the parking lot, at the restaurant, at work, at home, and even traveling. He is also with you when you sin. He is there to help you through whatever you are facing. Think about it....
