moriah

Moriah is the Hebrew word for: the revealed of God, or the revelation of God. The land of Moriah is Jerusalem. It was on Mt. Moriah that Abraham was to offer Isaac, Moses wrote of Moriah, "It shall be seen". It was there that Jesus was crucified. The cross was erected on Mt. Moriah itself.
